1.) The current tiebreaker is not conference SOR. It’s the record of opponents
in-conference. Not the same thing.
2.) I should have communicated more clearly. What I meant was that in my opinion, the current tie-breaking procedures that precede the one I want to replace adequately capture performance against opponents in conference. Any further tiebreakers should prioritize non-conference performance. This would result in getting teams with better resumes in the championship game.

I could see going SOR overall but just non conf makes no sense in determining a conf title. Maybe by CFP rank?
