It’s not Daniel’s job to hit the defender. It’s the receivers job to position
The defender by acting like he’s going for the ball. If the defender doesn’t find it, he positions himself for it to hit the defender and then bails.
If the defender finds the ball he wants to make sure the defender gets a deflection but not a catch.
You would quickly be separated from your money.
The only reason they don’t do it often is because teams will be prepared. So long at teams are not prepared it has a high likelihood of success.
