Hitting a player in the face at a run with a pass is something that QBs can't do consistently. 

There's no world where the QB can pooch punt that with enough accuracy to hit a moving target that far away.

It's designed to pin us deep because we aren't ready, and the mayhem of people running around makes hitting a defender possible, but it's not possible to hit a DB's head like that consistently
