If the quarterback can't put it over the correct shoulder, you can't call the play. I love the confidence to make the
Throw, but you have to have the judgment to know when just can't do it consistently.
If I had a 6'6" WR that has great hands and a QB who can put the ball on a dot, the fade is a great call. That is not the situation BYU is in, so that is probably a play that should stay buried in the playbook unless there's not another page left in the book to pull from it.
