Well it's kind of a big deal if it's a mistake and you don't learn from it. And given that it's not the first time a
Fade was thrown with zero success, I think it's fair to bring up a problem that is a recurring one. Because clearly they haven't learned from it yet, so if they've failed to learn from that then what else might have been overlooked or uncorrected?
It's traits to say, but if you don't learn from history you're going to repeat it. People bringing it up aren't doing it to disparage a culture a player. They're doing it to point out the reality of a situation that can improve. That's all.
