Meant for OP - For those that vote yes, do you also believe that you should get
paid more when working overtime, but are considered a salaried employee?

IMHO, that is the whole point behind being a salaried employee - you work hard, when needed, to get the work done, which might mean working overtime, but you also get to cut out early when the job is done. The mindset is, "we have hired someone who is a hard worker and will get the job done." I don't care how many hours it takes, I am just looking for the job to be done well, and be completed.
