I think the main question will be whether top residencies will take these top students from a new school that will still be in the accreditation process and that will have some question marks with the quality of rotations as compared to established university hospital based programs

On the flip side if you were a top student and had some good choices would you take a tuition discount and the comforts of byu with at least some initial residency placement concerns

But it would be cool if byu reverted back to a merit based system.
