Utah’s medical school is probably the only group that doesn’t like this
announcement.

Within 5 years of establishment (maybe less) BYU will have a better incoming student profile than Utah’s.

Will probably send more grads into nationally-prominent fellowships and residencies, and develop more national visibility.

It’ll give another option to the super-accomplished kids who want to stay in Utah, that Utah routinely turns down.

Gonna be similar to the law school dynamic.
