For teenage son: Galaxy A25 5G? Or Pixel 7a?

He needs a new phone. But I don’t know anything about what phones are good and reliable. Basic use, he doesn’t need anything fancy.

Everyone else in the family has iPhones, but I don’t want to pay that much money for something he will probably break within the next year.

I like the cheapest android. Then I use Family Link for parental controls. My son LOVES it when I shut off his phone
