Let me help you with your argument. A person with your viewpoint should say, "Owners who say the business is struggling so they have to fire employees, but then turn around and buy a brand new $80k pick up truck are weasels."

That's a lot better than your argument that owners should fire themselves and leave the business to the cashier.
