net result of the power differential between owners and labor is that labor are the pawns on the chess board. Managers are knights, bishops, and rooks, still labor though. Owners are kings and queens. They are the most powerful pieces on the board, even if they aren’t the most valuable in all cases.

It’s just the reality of how business is.

I treat my employees well. I am fair with them in compensation and in all other aspects. They are great human beings. They just don’t have much power in the organization.
