Most businesses don't understand this principle, and instead spend tens of

thousands having to source people and then train them to catch up to what the guy they wouldn't give an extra week of vacation to was doing. Unnecessary turnover costs US companies billions every year because management loves to take the short-sighted view and shoot themselves in the foot.
