I think this is fair even for contract work. He probably won’t accrue

Two weeks by the end of summer but he could have a few days off. I’d also let him pick up extra hours before he leaves to make up for it. He’s 24 I think it’s fine to let him take some time off and meet him in the middle so he isn’t just getting two weeks paid free while a contract worker
