AA club teams are rec-level players whose parents are willing to pay for
year-round reps (bad reps). Hard pass.

I read much of this thread earlier as I was in between club practice and a LL all-star game, both of which I coach. The club team is good, but underachieving IMO. They started the year at AAA and got bumped to Majors in late Fall, but they’ve struggled there. Too many kids not progressing.

But this all-star team is hot garbage compared to that team. 8 of the 12 players should never be on an all-star team at any level, and probably not in any sport. But there’s room for them on the all-star roster because so many of the good players don’t bother with LL anymore. It’s unfortunate but I get it.
