Rec sports isn’t dead…. It’s just not as competitive. I think it’s a great
option for kids and parents who like putting minimal effort into sports but also allowing their kid to learn new hobbies.
Some people like competitive sports and some don’t. They both can coexist, it’s just not like the “old days” where the best athletes played rec ball.
