I look through Akiya Banks from time-to-time. The areas themselves seem somewhat appealing but Japanese houses
are typically weird so it wouldn't be super easy to get your house's interior to look the way you wanted/ to function on top of the stuff Mister P cites. And obviously the places these houses are might not have much community in them in general. I was just watching a youtube video on a Japanese elementary school that had like 4 students now after having had 100's. Looked like a great area, but obviously if the local school has 4 students....There's nothing to plug into. There's no life going on around you. At best, it becomes some expat community 20 years down the road. If I'm moving to Japan, i want it to feel like Japan.
