I can't see a whole lot of people moving to Japan. It's a great place to visit, but it's kind of a closed society, and few people there speak fluent English. American expats in Mexico are lazy enough about learning Spanish, which is relatively easy, so I can't see very many tackling Japanese.

But in general, the world is getting more connected, so I would expect more expats around the world over time.
