You would donate an amount you can afford because you want more wins. And you realize that if everyone else had $100
to donate that we'd get more wins.
The math for the individual is... If lots of us donate $100, that means more wins. When BYU is winning football games it makes my life better... so $100 is money well spent.
BYU has 450,000 living alumni. If 25% of them gave $100... That gets us to the $10M mark which is what we need to win a B12 championship.
