Collective/NIL feel very different than Cougar Club, etc., to me.
Cougar Club offers donors something measurable in return for money. Better seats, better access, more perks, or even just status with being higher up in the organization.
Donating to NIL and collectives just feels like a shake-down to me.
So, yeah, I haven't given money to a collective or NIL in any way and don't plan to. Guess I am part of the problem.
Also, they feel sloppily and hastily run. I suspect some are taking and keeping more money than donors expect.
