I bought my first home on a $49k salary and it was $145,000 on the east side of SLValley. That same home now sells for $350ish. But a salary today for my first role would only be $60k - $70k.

That's not counting weekends. 52 wks of 5 days/wk = 260 - 185 = 75 fewer days / 5 = 15 weeks < 4mos.
