These people obviously are not planning for being laid off, which happens often

You need to live below your means, like you make 80k or so. Of course, most of the don’t pay tithing either. I can guess they do some pretty frivolous spending and make sure they travel for fun 2-3 times per year.

So yeah, of course they will be eating beans.

That's not counting weekends. 52 wks of 5 days/wk = 260 - 185 = 75 fewer days / 5 = 15 weeks < 4mos.
