I just wouldn’t assume an attempt at deception if someone wrote “BYU, Rexburg, Idaho.”

It seems obvious what school they’re referring to and if the interviewer is ignorant about which school is being referenced then that’s on the interviewer because it’s spelled out pretty clearly.
