Yale are located? You seem to be assuming that everyone who looks at a resume lives in the intermountain West — and I agree that most people there know where BYU is located. But nationally, it’s a very different deal.
People in my neck of the woods can barely distinguish between the states of Utah and Idaho, and they have no idea exactly where most Western universities are located, even good ones. This is exactly what happened last year when a BYU-Idaho student listed his school as “BYU” in a recruiting event I was attending in Milwaukee.
