You need to read more carefully and expand your perspective
and stop assuming things. Here is one example:

Get up at 5:30 AM and be in the office by 6:30 AM. Work through lunch. Leave the office at 5:30 and have dinner at 6 PM (depending on traffic - that is another quality of life decision - where to live and work) with my entire family. 55 hours every week. Easy peasy.

Spend time with the kids from 6 PM to whenever they go to bed. Go to bed tired at 9:30 PM (kids have been in bed for a while by then) and get my 8 hours of sleep...and if I wanted to, I could probably read for a 1/2 hour before bedtime.

Don't forget. No weekends. EVERY weekend free. Whatever you want to do.

Watching TV from 9:30 to 11PM every day - I wouldn't trade it for my bank account, that's for sure, and if that is cutting into my evenings, no loss for me. No judgment - you may find that time very important to you. I don't, but I hardly ever work on weekends and that assumption is uninformed.
