One other thing that occurred to me based on my own experience: This is a sports board. We are all about the mentality of the tough warrior who puts on a brave face and gets back in the fight no matter what. There have been many admonitions for you to be strong. But that doesn't mean ignoring your pain and shoving it down inside. This isn't some sprained ankle that you just play through. Be kind to yourself. It is OK to have a good cry. Honestly acknowledging your feelings and emotions is a different kind of strength.
