My wife and I were driving to my in-laws to drop off my daughter. That's when the heavens opened and what I can only describe as the floods of Noah came pouring down. We stayed in my in-laws house for a few minutes when a neighbor came rushing over.
There was massive flooding in some of the neighborhood. We spent the next hour doing all in our power to stop damage. I figured that I was going to miss the first quarter of the game, but got there with a half hour to spare.
I consider the win a direct result of the service that I offered that day.
