We took a great photo in our front yard - us in BYU gear, them in Texas - sunshine & a gorgeous mountain background, then drove to the game. We're from south of Provo, so those ominous clouds escorted us right to the stadium. It was drizzling and we debated about running for it when the storm hit. We were parked in the SE lot and I thought the giant flag above us was going to rip right off. It was nuts.

My parents had gone to the VA game the week before (they're in Charlottesville) so we called and chatted with them about the crazy weather two weeks in a row. Listened to Mack Brown's interview on the radio (seemed like a nice guy, and we whooped them, so I wish he was still around at TX).

We had incredible seats at the game right behind the UT bench. I was in awe of the expletives spewed by the coaches, that is until the fourth quarter when they went silent.

By one of the last field goals, as the band began the Cougar fight song for the umpteenth time my sister-in-law asks, "Ya'll gettin' tired of that song?"

I'm sure SHE was.

My second favorite game ever at LES. Nothing beats the Luke Staley game against Utah, but this was a close second.
