I don’t think it’s hard to prove at all. If there is a statistically significant
Higher frequency, then the observation is accurate. It doesn’t require it to be true of everyone. Obviously people generalize to inaccurate levels and say “all of Utah” or whatever. I’ve found it to be a true observation that this occurs more frequently in Utah than outside Utah and I don’t believe that is due to confirmation bias.
