otherwise nearly perfect life (it really is), you might get more motivated than you think you would be.
I love where I am in life, love my wife, my kids, my great home, my friends and family, business opportunities, really basically everything about my life.
I would do anything to keep my happy family together. If that meant I had to be Catholic or anything else to accomplish that, sacrificing my own private opinions and thoughts about life, I would. And I do.
Most moral ideas within the church already existed outside of the church and the church simply adopted them as their own in various ways. I think they can be explained best evolutionarily and naturalistically as to why most of them came to be and exist and why they are the best course of action. So not much friction there for me.
