We have a similar strategy, but it's 9th grade.
And no social media apps. Which has gotten hard because YouTube allows all sorts of social media corporations (i.e. TikTok) and "influencers" to cross-post onto their platform.
For my daughter I wish we had waited until she was 18. The social media content for girls is so rife with narcissism and people who are outright psychopaths.
