All of them seem to be saving for retirement

They are getting ahead, but have a lot in the discretionary spending category and aren't acknowledging it.

On a side note, my company has been hiring for a paralegal in TX. Pretty much all of them want six figures for 5+ years of experience. We're going to give that to one of them.

That's not counting weekends. 52 wks of 5 days/wk = 260 - 185 = 75 fewer days / 5 = 15 weeks < 4mos.
