If I were moving into my neighboorhood right now, $100k would not be enough.

When I moved into my neighborhood, $80k was plenty.

I get what they're saying, but at the same time I grew up lower middle income and scrimped and saved til I wasn't. You don't get to "get ahead" immediately. You don't get everything your parents had by the time you're 25.

That's not counting weekends. 52 wks of 5 days/wk = 260 - 185 = 75 fewer days / 5 = 15 weeks < 4mos.
