dishonest, so we didn’t interview the guy. The name of the school is not BYU, it’s BYU-Idaho. Just like Texas-San Antonio and Michigan-Dearborn and Wisconsin-Stevens Point are not Texas, Michigan, or Wisconsin — I would handle it the same way if someone tried to pass the lesser schools off as the flagship in those cases.

BTW, I’ve recruited plenty of people from all of those schools, and have never seen anyone attempt to do this. But apparently it’s happening with BYU-Idaho.

We only caught it because I happen to be LDS. The other people recruiting had no idea there even was a BYU-Idaho, and thought the guy had gone to BYU, until I figured it out.
