When it comes to golf, you don’t have to be on a team to improve, and it all
comes down to your score. Keep practicing. Play in junior tournaments and other tournaments and try out next year.

Most of all have fun doing it. Play for the enjoyment, not for being on a high school team.

I started golf the summer before my freshman year. I rarely played in tournaments for my high school team my freshman year….maybe a couple if they had JV involved.

I kept practicing, and by my junior year I would regularly qualify to play varsity at most tournaments. (My team wasn’t awesome either….😁)
