The church does a lot of good in the world and for most of my life it provided a conduit for me to worship and understand God. But amongst all of those things, its important that it is TRUE. That's where things fell apart for me... not just from this book, but from further research, contemplation, and prayer.

Believe me it was the hardest thing I have ever gone through to lose my faith. I was a full believer. I never wanted it to happen, but the truth does matter (as it did when I was a full believer), and I could not ignore what I thought and felt.

I should mention I don't believe any religion is the "one true church".
