My knee-jerk response is the safe answer. NBA draft. Too risky otherwise. Wouldn't want my influence to lose a kid tens of millions $$. I won't get into it but sadly, I've been on the wrong side of this situation in the past and it still haunts me. That's why I asked myself this question.
After giving it thought, here's my answer: Return to BYU.
Even with an insane amount of money, everything ultimately still gets boring.
The life-changing elements of our experiences are the ones that can't be bought. In other words, money can open the door but the life-altering elements of the experience are organic. In this case, if it's about money vs experience, the greater risk of regret is missing out on something almost nobody ever gets a chance to experience.
Run it back, Demin. One way or another, more than enough money will always be there. This opportunity will not.
