In order to reason like a human we have to do completely different things than we are right now. The tracks we are on right now will never get there. It's an impossibility. And actual researchers will validate that, it's just the CEOs and marketers who say that we are on track for that.

This is the reason why I think lidar and radar are more practical medium term. Those allow you to drive really well without thinking like a human.
