Have safe automated driving unless it includes lidar and radar. That is patently untrue, because we have that now with human drivers. We just need to get AI up to the point of human driving intelligence.
Is that possible? I don't know, but AI is progressing really really fast. Lots of stuff we thought was technologically impossible in the '80s is routine now.
