Hand warmers in the bag by the feet do wonders.
Change socks before you go to bed.
If it snows, keep it on the tent. It’s an extra layer of insulation. I’ve had to remove layers at night in a tent with snow as it was getting hot.
Keep and tend a big fire.
Definitely must have a good pad to sleep on. This is most crucial when winter camping.
At least one portable heater is always good to have in case there is a frozen youth. But a big fire will often be enough.
Have fun. Winter camping is the best camping.
