When KW leaves there will be room for concern that the football program will struggle.

KW has a long enough track record of success to assume he will figure out how to coach his team to good/very good seasons.

I think it’s insane that they are naming Scalley HC in waiting. Utah has enough money and status as a P4 team to go get a successful G5 HC.

But until KW retires - I wouldn’t bet against Utah. He loves the underdog role and knows how to win. Last season IMO was an outlier due to a perfect storm of injuries/circumstances. Some of that is on KW.

I also think Jason Beck is a really good OC and a great QB coach.
