Whatever flaws the committee has won’t simply vanish due on the outcomes of
games. There will always be bias, and some less deserving team will always pass some sort of an eye test. It could be BYU one day.
A lot of people have said it BYU had lost early then went on a winning streak like SMU, they could have gotten in. Those are the kind of feature the committee is always going to have.
