They continue to convince themselves that a single game will change the narrative and that we need to cheer for the conference.

Many of them are the same people who now dunk on Boise St and the MWC but another XII team winning will be different.

I don’t think you can reason with most of that crowd. Just think of how it sounds in reverse. Why is the XII better, because so and so beat y team in a bowl game. Or because our conference went 5-3 in bowl
games last year. They’d think it was ridiculous if someone else said it.
