You know our cheering has nothing to do with the outcomes on the field, right?
If I’m at home on my couch cheering for ASU, they won’t play better. Neither will my cheering for Texas cause Texas to play better.
So why exactly does my cheering have anything to do with those outcomes? (In person attendance, obviously excepted.)
Also, your argument supports the original post that only winning the most important games will make a difference, not a bowl game here and there.
