Marriott Center and LES aren't really comparable for BYU
Marriott Center is used constantly throughout the year. Dozens of basketball games, volleyball at times, performing arts, even elementary school performances. It is in BYUs interest to spend money on a facility used regularly to keep it top of the line. Although, without any kind of box seating I think it falls below many top basketball schools for comparison on a premium view.

Are you going to pony up the $1B for a new stadium? You'd rather those $$$ go to a new stadium that's not needed instead

I don't really care. Wouldn't be my money. And having a sick stadium is more than just 6 games a year.
