It is things like that that caused the SEC to slap the sponsoring institution on the wrist for not being forthright with shell companies, etc.
I listened to about every apologetic podcast on that issue and then also made sure to listen to the podcasts taking the other side and everything in between.
After actually listening to both sides (which most people don't do, they just take their favorite team's side), it seemed pretty obvious to me that the sponsoring institution (and not just the lawyers), knew what it was doing and did it anyway and got away with it for a long time. Which makes people less likely to just take "their" word for it in the future. Just my view based on the best information I could get and processing it through my average intelligence:), no big deal.
