I'm joking of course. Of course they have evidence. There is a LOT of it out there.
Especially in certain roles the outcomes (not output) of WFH employees are consistently below those who work in the office. Note that I don't say for all roles and averages mean something. And when I mean outcomes, it means # of sales, renewed clients, successful products launched, # of releases without bugs etc.
