This happened to my daughter at about the same age. She was in an acute crisis and I physically (and kind of against
her will) took her to an inpatient treatment center. She was there for about 2 weeks, made friends, and had a very positive experience there.
It's been about 15 years from that scary time, but I'm glad to say my daughter is doing great. She married, has three children, a great job, owns a house, and is currently training for an ultra marathon.
Life can be hard, but your child can grow and thrive and have a happy future. Hang in there. Life will get better for her.
