I hardly print things anymore. If I was printing like I did the first year I got it, I totally would upgrade. We print
maybe one thing a month. And it's usually a random toy for a friend. I swore off printing random doodads and toys for us. The only prints we're allowed to keep are functional prints. Toys have to be given away.

I see some 3d printers for sale on Prime Day and my son will want one for Christmas. Anyone have any recommendations?

Yep, that is my go to recommendation. I wish I had one. I still have an original Ender 3 with probably $300 of upgrades.

If I wasn't into 3d printing as much as I am I would get Bambulab as well. I have 2 Prusas which are more expensive
