Personally knowing two people a few years younger than me who recently got their PhDs and who shouldn’t be considered an expert in anything except for maybe how to be career students. I’m not sure how much they’ve published, aside from one who posted at some point about a study he coauthored with his professor (I think it was the professor at least)

Degree devaluation has hit hard IMO
