Too many experts put themselves on a pedestal and act like they're above questioning. When people ask them reasonable questions, they get defensive and respond without answering the original question.

Experts should be able to withstand questioning and explain their complex research to average people. To do that, they need to get off their high horse and stop acting like they're smarter than everyone.
